NSW Labor announces $800m plan to accelerate clean energy transmission

has announced $800 million to fast-track the connection of regional energy projects to the grid, meaning homes and businesses will get cleaner and cheaper power sooner.to the electricity grid sooner, which is on top of a $1.8 billion boost for a renewable energy transition.Energy Minister Penny Sharpe said it was a "once-in-a-generation" transition.

"This is a once-in-a-generation transition that requires massive investment and coordination from government and cooperation with the private sector," Energy Minister Penny Sharpe said.
