Sky News host Chris Kenny said Australia's energy crisis will continue getting worse until the Albanese government stops being 'anti-nuclear troglodytes from the 1970s.'

Responding to news that a pre-budget submission from mining giant BHP had called on the government to remove bans on nuclear energy, Kenny said Australia’s energy crisis would only get worse until Labor abandoned its opposition to nuclear.

“Now remember why we are doing this, it is just to pretend that we can lead the world in saving the planet,” he said “In the UK, Labour's big complaint is that the Tories have been too slow, with their giant nuclear reactor projects running overtime and over budget – although thankfully these massive reactors will restore British energy security soon,” Kenny said.
