Museum galleries also will interpret other periods of the Alamo’s history, including its 1724 founding as the third and final site of the Mission San Antonio de Valero, the area’s first permanent Spanish-Indigenous mission.
“This donation made possible by the steadfast support and leadership of Valero will play a significant role in helping us sustain our efforts in safeguarding the historical and cultural essence of the Alamo,” Rogers said.
