Tari Eason, celebrating a 3-pointer in win over Oklahoma City, was receiving more attention for his offensive rebounding.made the rounds on NBA Twitter.
Eason finished Wednesday’s game with a career-high 20 points and a career high-tying 13 rebounds, 12 on the offensive end. His performance was a three-way tie for the second-most offensive rebounds by any player in a game this season. Even before Wednesday’s game, Eason ranked fifth among all rookies in rebounding average, first in steals and 10th in scoring average. Yet he was not one of the 11 rookies selected Tuesday to the NBA’s Rising Stars roster for All-Star weekend .
