MP Charlie Angus says the Liberal government has done a lot of talking but needs to show more action in developing hydrogen as an alternative energy source. The Liberals should follow the U.S.'s example for hydrogen development, he argues.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz examine a hydrogen powered toy car as they tour a trade show, Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Liberal government needs to take a page from U.S. President Joe Biden and put considerably more money towards developing hydrogen in Canada, says the NDP’s natural resources critic.
