SSE Airtricity has announced that it is to increase prices for its customers from 1 October, with electricity bills to rise by over 35%, and gas bills to increase by 39%.
Dual fuel household bills will increase by 37% on average, which is equivalent to around €3.02 per day. Managing Director Klair Neenan said they are"acutely aware" of the impact the move will have on households.
Problem is supply of Russian gas ..EU needs to stop using Russian gas and move to supply from Qatar Algeria the US instead....Has to be done cant trust Russia anymore.....

Absolutely disgusting. We know that life essentials will have to be reduced or removed so a population already struggling can find it to pay it. This is nothing less than government sanctioned rape.
These people, I’m sure the share holders are making a nice profit while the rest of us struggle!
