Report: Scientists say new research reinforces consensus that human-caused climate change made many extreme weather events more likely in 2020. See news release for Explaining Extreme Events report issued today by AMS: ametsoc Climate Weather

Lake Powell has fallen to its lowest level on record since it was first filled more than 50 years ago.

The extremely warm and wet winter over Northwest Russia in 2019 and 2020 was only possible due to climate change, another study concluded. Extreme wildfires in Siberia during 2020 were caused by weather conditions that are up to 80% more likely than a century ago as a result of global warming. Climate change decreased the likelihood of the exceptional April 2020 cold spell over Northern China by 80%, one study found.

ametsoc It is more likely that Under Development caused weather events to have more extreme affects than any facsimile that could relate to extreme Climate Change events that affects the whole earth not just minor Under Developed Regions. If no one wishes to develop land that's evident.

ametsoc If the land around & at New York or any other city was not developed the erosion would be just as evident as is with other under developed lands. The Climate Change enthusiasts do not advocate any development any where at all nor scientists. Weather causes erosion, its natural.
