I examined my lifestyle and picked three to four things that weren’t healthy that I could do without.
In 2019, I had the honor of competing for Team USA at the ITU World Championships in Spain. I’m not a great runner, but my swimming made me competitive. It was such an adventure. For anyone who wants to go on a similar journey, my advice is to not make it private. Tell people what you’re doing. It’s a great way to hold yourself accountable, and you’ll never know who you’ll inspire to do the same.
