-esque seat that could only belong to Emperor Palpatine . Sure enough, the Sith Lord’s voice snarls in, promising Rey and the Resistance doom, but he’s drowned out by the voice of Luke Skywalker: “Confronting fear is the destiny of the Jedi.”
And Rey isn’t confronting fear alone. Poe , Chewy , Finn and all their electronic friends band together in the trusty Millennium Falcon for one last ride. The late Fisher is seen as Leia in a tearful shot, brought into the film through unreleased footage from the previous two installments. Yet these tender moments are bittersweet, as the trailer hints that we may be saying goodbye to some of these characters even before the end credits roll.
