Wilsbach Distributors began privately funding its sustainability investments in 2019 in tandem with the design of its new facility at 1977 Oberlin Road. The company said it invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in electrical infrastructure to one day support electric vehicle charging stations. Over the last few years, Wilsbach also invested $1.8 million into a 100,000 square-foot rooftop solar array, which now entirely powers its new facility. The company is planning to construct a second, larger ground-mounted solar array that will power its future electric vehicle fleet. The company said any excess electricity will be sold to PPL.
