Formula E notes: Lola enlists Yamaha as technical partner for the all-electric open-wheel series; Nissan extends its Formula E deal to 2030.

Lola is starting the next chapter of its racing heritage by joining the ABB FIA Formula E racing series.The manufacturer made the announcement today that it will make its first entry in the all-electric open-wheel racing series in a technical partnership with Yamaha Motor Company beginning in the 20245-25 season. Yamaha will develop and supply the car's GEN3 Evo platform powertrains.“We are thrilled to confirm our entry in Formula E.

'To be selected by one of the most innovative OEMs in the world to partner on a project of this significance is a testament to the caliber of the team that we have been building at Lola. “The focus of this project is squarely around technological development in which Lola is fully invested.
