Energy firm E.On has issued a message to all of its energy customers, handing out a very welcome bumper £288 boost from April.
But the E.On Next Pledge tracker promises to offer customers a tariff which is £50 cheaper than the price cap in total, meaning the total saving will actually be £288, not £238, on average, for E.On customers. EOn said in a message to customers: "On 23 February 2024, Ofgem announced that the energy price cap, for a typical household who use electricity and gas and pay by Direct Debit, would be £1,690 from 1 April 2024.
