The St. Charles Business Alliance has announced that the St. Charles History Museum will be the grand marshal of the annual Electric Christmas Parade in honor of the museum’s 90th anniversary.

The Electric Christmas Parade, sponsored by St. Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram, will take place on Saturday, Nov. 25, in downtown St. Charles. The parade is part of the St. Charles Holiday Homecoming Celebration, which is a two-day event that begins on Friday, Nov. 24, with the Lighting of the Lights Ceremony, sponsored by Solutions Networking. The St. Charles History Museum at 215 E. Main St. in St.

Marmion Academy, a Catholic college preparatory high school for young men at 1000 Butterfield Road in Aurora, will host an open house at 1 p.m. Sunday for boys in fifth through eighth grade and their families. The open house will showcase Marmion’s educational experience which school officials said is based on spirituality, academics and leadership.
