A UK company car has released the new Mini eMastered - an electric version of the iconic British car but with a eye-watering price tag of £125,000.

The Mini eMastered has the A-Series engine stripped out and power now comes from a small 18.8kW battery.

Linked to a 97 horsepower electric motor, it has a claimed range of just 110 miles and a top speed of 92mph. The price tag is more than 250 times the 1959 original Mini when it was new - and a celebrity already has one
