The St. Charles Business Alliance is now accepting entry forms from local businesses, community groups and non-profits that want to take part in the Electric Christmas Parade in downtown St. Charles on Nov. 25.

A completed entry form must be submitted before Oct. 20 to take part in the parade, organizers said.

The documentary follows Rhode Island election officials as they administer the 2020 election amid a global pandemic.State Sen. Don DeWitte, R-St. Charles, will host a resource event geared toward the needs of seniors on Sept. 19 in St. Charles. The Sept. 19 event will run from 10 a.m. to noon at Pottawatomie Community Center at 8 North Ave. in St. Charles.

Collecting seeds and cutting and stacking invasive brush will be on the agenda, organizers said. Tools are provided but participants can also bring their own to use at the event.Refreshments will be available during a break in the work. Anyone under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult at the event.or call Robb at the Kane County Forest Preserve District at 630-232-5980.
