Employees of North Lanarkshire Council will be able to obtain electric vehicles through a salary sacrifice scheme.

A report on how the scheme would work for employees includes an example where the vehicle is a SUV manufactured by Peugeot, which on the open market would cost £433 each month for 36 months with additional charges for servicing, tyres, insurance and breakdown cover.
