A programme to install charging infrastructure for 136 buses was intended to be complete by the end of August, but will now be delayed

More than 100 electric buses acquired by the National Transport Authority will sit idle in Dublin until close to the end of the year, due to a lack of charging infrastructure, the Business Post has learned.

100 double decker buses arrived in Ireland earlier this year after being purchased for Dublin Bus as part of the electrification of the public bus fleet. Registration of the vehicles for road use is currently underway, while testing, ...
