Inflation in the Irish economy went back up to 8 per cent last month, up from 7.5 per cent in January, according to a flash estimate released on Wednesday by the Central Statistics Office

.

Ireland has become the latest European economy to record an increase in inflation after France and Spain both recorded rises this week, fueling fears over when the European Central Bank will stop raising interest rates.
