Between January and October of this year, 14,707 new electric private cars were licensed.

In the year to October, 26,309 new private cars licensed were diesel, compared to 33,538 throughout the same period last year.Meanwhile, over a fifth of all new cars licensed for the first time were electric or plug-in hybrid electric, compared to 16% in the same period in 2021.
