Tesla has released a firmware update to address the recall of about 40,000 2017-2021 Model S and Model X autos over a power-steering issue

The climate bill recently passed by the Senate could knock thousands of dollars off the sticker price of electric vehicles, but it’s also redefining which cars are eligible. WSJ’s George Downs breaks down the new rules and what it means for the EV industry. Illustration: George DownsTesla Inc.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said in a safety-recall report that the issue could have led to reduced or lost power-steering assistance related to road dynamics, such as potholes or bumps. Tesla isn’t aware of any injuries related to the issue, the agency said.

Applause for WSJ - a factual story. Just a software update, not a horrible 40k car recall. Maybe time to actually pay for news from an org like WSJ. The other rags/orgs had clickbait sky is falling 40k recall article titles.

Wouldn't you need some more hard drive room in the car's? Because you might be erasing something and trying to replace that and add more information.. When there's no room for it.
