The Solicitor-General has found Scott Morrison did not break the law during the secret ministries scandal but the secrecy by the former prime minister “fundamentally undermined” the practice of responsible government.

In the detailed report handed to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Dr Stephen Donaghue found Mr Morrison was “validly appointed” to the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources as he cleared Governor-General David Hurley of any wrongdoing.

The Solicitor-General has also provided recommendations for how to prevent Mr Morrison’s self-ministerial appointments from happening again. Mr Albanese announced his government would hold an inquiry into the saga after Cabinet determinations following the release of the Solicitor-General’s report.“One of the things that we will need to consider is any future legislative change to make sure that that’s enshrined, to make sure that it’s not dependent upon the goodwill of the government of the day,” he said.

He’s a perfect person.

Watch state Labor leaders go next. This is fk all but a comedy of errors for the pedo elites

This will be on going until the next election plus other crap - Albanese is already campaigning for the next election predicted he’ll get in there is no governing- Sky News has changed its position since the election joined the turd pack

Blah Blah no one gives a rats arse about this……..get on with the job they were elected for….even with 32%

S. Donaghue-SG, seriously “fundamentally undermined” practice of responsible government… were you asleep when the SM was dealing with muppet premiers, border closures, vaccine mandates, death bed restrictions, vaccine job losses, lockdowns, quarantine, economic shutdown etc..😡

Maybe mr 32% start focusing on his Farken job now

I don’t understand… Everyone was sure that he had done something illegal…. What a surprise.

lol....'fundamentally undermined the practice of responsible government'....This statement refers best to the history and workings within Australia, of much of the Legal Industry, and its' lawyers. I can prove it anytime. auspol law ScottMorrisonMP

I still think everyone is missing the point. He never actually took accountability for a ministry, he was ready to be the minister of X if the actual minister became incapacitated by COVID. He never had the power as no one was stood down. I think Chris Kenny is wrong as well.

The only problem is because Albo don't like him

Hopefully serial loafer Albanese can now cut the diversions and do some real work dealing with the multitude of major issues facing everyday Australians.

Good so we can now move on and stop throwing mud at the liberals as a distraction since Labor has no way to actually fix inflation and slow wages 😁 oh I know, let's increase migration that will lower inflation and increase wages.

Obvious now albo do your job and stop crying like a little girl is that asking to much from you

Cue the nutjobs..........

both parties will spin this for the next 3 years,
