I currently have a large diesel Ford truck. They can't get parts for warranty repairs to their current vehicles, and their customer service has been awful. I can't imagine going out in a limb and buying a completely new product from them that is likely to need service attention.
I recall one of the oft-repeated claims about EVs was that they'd create all these 'good-quality high-paying union jobs' Biden himself must have said that a hundred times...
