Campaigners in Northern Ireland have warned there will be fuel poverty deaths this winter unless Stormont"urgently" introduces regulations to curb rising energy costs.
The demonstration, organised by the Cost of Living Coalition, took place outside the Department for the Economy on Adelaide Street. "They're angry that they're being told that the increases are due to global pressures when there are actions that Governments can take to alleviate some of the pressures on people."
"Things are looking very bleak unless there's urgent action. That's the reason why we're calling on the minister to come up with a strategy."
SF in government up north. Pityful stuff
The same campaigners who supported green levies, carbon taxes and lockdown.
Israel killed a 62-year-old elderly Palestinian woman in Gaza today when it bombed her son's wedding car. Another Israeli war crime that won't make headline news because Western mainstream media doesn't care about Palestinian lives.
Have 2 wonder about the amount of time our national broadcaster spends reporting on NI ,virtue signalling, general fluffyness whilst seemingly oblivious 2 what's happening in its own back garden.Your flag ship Radio programme should B renamed Morning Ukraine. Time to Get a Grip
I grew in the 50ths when people were struggling to heat their homes. They lit a fire in one room and that's where the family gathered. I don't have to feel nostalgic for those times because they are now back again. Except heating now have standing charges, levies and Vax.
There will be deaths this winter in Ireland if the green party are left in government. Edmond Ryan needs to be removed Government NOW. netzerokills notocarbontax
