vehicle tax cut from July 1.“We also promise driving the nation to deliver a fast-charger once every 150 kilometres on our nations highways,” he said.

What the Federal Government may giveth by way of tax cuts to encourage EV take-up, the Victorian Premier will taketh away via the imposition of an EV road tax. Does anyone think one, or both, of the leaders concerned may be strangely out of touch?

I was hoping he had signed up to have EV cars made here & not overseas. Will his grid be upgraded at the time the cars start drawing down power for the cars?

I hope police cars and ambulances don't use electric cars. It doesn't matter if Bowen uses an electric car, people won't die if Bowen stop on the road.

Great...however let's hope every EV owner doesn't want to recharge their vehicles at the same time and overload a struggling supply network

And right on queue Dan Andrews increases the tax on every kilometre driven in EVs.
