But Dr Winning insists he is not out of ideas for climate comedy, and has started working up ideas for a TV sitcom, on climate change of course.“The funny comes first,” he insists. “[But] comedy is really good at helping people to focus, and people learn much better when the positive parts of the brain are stimulated,” he says.
Often, his audience leave as converts to the climate cause. “I had someone say they had sold their car right after coming to see my show….I’ve had people say their family didn’t fly that year after seeing the show,” he says. “Really I’m just hoping that I impart knowledge to people and they can then decide what to do with it themselves.”Farming:
