Whole milk, in particular, has been associated with increased risk of prostate cancer recurrence.

In the U.S., prostate cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed form of cancer among men. While doctors commonly recommend cancer patients follow strictly plant-based diets high in whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, Liu and team delved into how a vegan diet results in better treatment outcomes specifically for men with prostate cancer.
