Production details about the intriguing Dongfeng electric truck remain unclear

Dongfeng has even developed a tent for the electric pickup, just like Tesla. Underpinning the copycat Cybertruck is a skateboard EV platform with an astonishing 1,305 hp. Tesla doesn't plan on selling the Cybertruck in China. From the moment the Tesla Cybertruck was unveiled, it seemed inevitable that copycat versions would emerge out of China. That time has come. Among all the glitz and glamor of the Beijing Auto Show, Dongfeng unveiled its take on the Cybertruck.

Compared to the Tesla, it has slightly softer edges, and the body panels are not believed to be made from exposed stainless steel.
