Ipinatigil muna ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang panghuhuli sa ilang electric vehicles gaya ng e-bikes at e-trikes na dumadaan sa mga national road sa Metro Manila.

Sa pahayag nitong Huwebes, inatasan ni Metropolitan Manila Development Authority at mga lokal na pamahalaan sa Metro Manila na bigyan pa ng palugit ang mga gumagamit ng e-bikes, e-trikes, at iba pang e-vehicles na pinagbabawalang dumaan sa mga national road sa Metro Manila.

“Kung paparahin man sila , ito ay upang maayos na maituro ang mga kalsadang maaari nilang gamitin, pati na ang pagpapaalala ng mga bagong patakaran na ipinapatupad upang paigtingin ang kaligtasan at kaayusan sa mga lansangan,”dagdag ng pangulo.
