Labor, Greens anti-nuclear stance ‘bordering on irrational’: Holmes à Court

In a warning to Peter Dutton, the energy investor and self-described energy geek declared the Coalition’s recent embrace of nuclear energy could cost it votes in crucial inner-urban areas where the teals will again try to strip support from the Coalition.

Holmes à Court claimed a cohort within the Coalition party room were using nuclear energy as a tactic to argue the country did not need to invest in renewables and could instead wait for nuclear, which does not emit greenhouse gas.
