Based on official notes, the new Smart Electric Steamer has a capacity of 12L and a total power output of 1500W.
IT even features a dual layered design, which basically means that you have two levels of space to cook. So you can steam a whole chicken or even up to 8 corn cobs at the same time. The steamer has a 2 liter water tank, which the user can monitor, and adding the water is pretty easy as well. Users can simply add water to the tank through the side of the steamer without having to open it.
Furthermore, the MIJIA Smart Electric Steamer features a unique tray design that prevents water from collecting and ensures that it all evaporates during the cooking process. Other notable features include a display knob that shows temperature and water levels, 8-hour automatic heat preservation, and more. The Xiaomi MIJIA Smart Electric Steamer 12L is currently listed for crowdfunding for a price tag of 269 Yuan .
