KUALA LUMPUR: Two new BYD Centres were opened recently in Penang and Johor Bahru, as the new energy Chinese automaker continues its expansion in Malaysia.

Jeffrey Gan, managing director of Sime Darby Motors Retail and Distribution – Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macau, said, “The response to BYD in the Malaysian market has been overwhelmingly positive, clearly demonstrating growing adoption of electric vehicles in the country.” BYD customers from the northern and southern region can now enjoy various amenities in these new BYD 1S & 2S Centres.

According to BYD, its integrated management of parts distribution throughout the nation ensures sufficient supply of spare parts.
