The European Commission’s projections for growth in the Irish economy over the next two years have been revised upwards.
In February, Ireland’s economy was predicted to grow by 4.9% in 2023, and a further 4.1 per cent for next year. The new European Commission Spring 2023 Economic Forecast, published today, has said Ireland's economy is on track for growth of 5.5 per cent this year and 5 per cent in 2024.
