A woman has been left with 'visible scars' for the rest of her life after being viciously attacked in her home by a neighbour with a drill.
The court heard that Kent screamed: 'I'm gonna kill you, you hear me?' after placing the electric drill towards the woman's head and it slipped down towards her neck. She punched and kicked the helpless victim during the attack. “I did absolutely nothing to deserve permanent scarring on my body. The pain and shock caused by these physical wounds were bad enough at the time, but the permanent scars serve as a constant reminder of a violent, unprovoked attack in my own home.”She added: “Each time I tried to enter the room I would have flashbacks about what happened. These flashbacks lead to panic attacks and anxiety attacks because I cannot rationalise what happened to me in that room, on that day.
“To hear my daughter say she thought I was dead fills me with emotions that I cannot describe. It is something a young child should never have to experience.
