Environmental stewards gathered at the MacKenzie Street library on Saturday to mark Earth Day and celebrate the grand opening of Climate Justice Corner.
It’s an effort of both the Greater Sudbury Public Library and the Coalition for a Livable Sudbury, whose members donated items and helped figure out what should appear in the space. Climate change isn’t just an environmental issue, she said, “It’s a human issue,” with people dying in heat waves throughout large swaths of the world every year.
