NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has warned no protester should ever 'inconvenience people' across the state after climate change activist Deanna 'Violet' Coco was freed from prison over the demonstration which brought Sydney to a standstill.

Climate change activist Deanna"Violet" Coco has been slammed by NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet after her jail sentence was overturned on Wednesday.

"If you want to protest in NSW, you’re free to protest. But when you protest, you do not inconvenience people across NSW," he told reporters on Thursday. The 32-year-old then climbed onto the roof alongside fellow activists, and lit a flare as part of a protest against climate change inaction for Fireproof Australia.

The state government last year introduced new penalties for activities that shut down major economic activity.on Wednesday, judge Mark Williams issued Ms Coco with a 12-month conditional release order after noting she had been initially imprisoned on false information by NSW Police.

This evidence proved false and enabled Cocos release

So, 1/2 hour, 1 lane 'inconvenience' (putting aside the NSW Police lie about ambulance) is greater than the courage of a citizen to protest the inconvenience of the consequences of climate change!! 'brought Sydney to a standstill' is a Sky-lie.

I have to disagree. I know many of the climate protesters are loons who enjoy the pain they inflict, but inconveniencing people is part of the point, and can be an important tool. Just because some people use it for dumb reasons, don't stop the whole thing

It seems like the courts disagree with u so either fix the courts legal requirements or say its open season for any protest! If a protester is attacked by forcibly removing them from the scene because someone disagrees will protester also be given a free pass?

It didn't bring Sydney to a standstill. I happily moved from the inner west to the CBD by train, unaware of what was happening on the bridge. Stop making things up.

And he’s right - endangering lives is not on anytime anywhere

So a complete refusal to allow the High Courts freedom of political communication Which the High Court stated is necessary for a functioning democracy. Vote Independent

Oh yeah lets just protest without disruption. Dead ass nanny state narc-citizen clown city

But lying cops are the go, right?
