The federal Government has revoked the visa, residence and work permits of Chief Executive Officer of Seplat Energy, Mr Roger Brown.

DAILY POST reports that this is contained in a statement made by the New Media Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad on his verified Twitter handle.According to him, Mr Brown has been accused of favouring foreign workers at the detriment of Nigerians. “The FG has revoked the visa, residence and work permits of Roger Brown, a British businessman and CEO of Seplat Energy Plc, an oil & gas exploration and production company based in Nigeria over alleged racism, favoring of foreign workers and discrimination against Nigerian employees”, Ahmad posted.

But Basil Omiyi, the chairman, board of directors, Seplat, on Thursday issued a statement refuting the allegation against its CEO.Related Topics:

IT IS VERY FUNDAMENTAL FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO PROTECT ITS CITIZENS FROM ABUSES OF ANY SORT ESPECIALLY FROM FOREIGNERS WHO THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING IN THE COUNTRY. THIS SHOULD BE A WARNING TO OTHERS.
