“There is a risk and we need to prepare for this risk and hence the urgent need to replenish our [emergency] reserves,” he said, adding there was a high likelihood of load-shedding continuing at stage 6 at the start of the week as diesel supplies needed to operate open cycle gas turbine peaking plants - and pumped storage scheme dam levels - were replenished.

If you listen to his explanation of the situation, his reason for loadshedding is not clear. This is deliberate. These guys are giving our coal to Europe to solve their electric at our expense. If you look at how much coal they are exporting, it's a crazy amount.
There are many different energy option devices available, please do some research and you will find much cheaper sources available.
