I dont believe there will be a reduction in power bills despite more use of renewables. There will be continued mining and burning of coal and gas throughout the world along with new coal fired power stations, I don't see how the 'greens' plan to save the world will work.

We are years away from reliable renewable power. With our small carbon footprint as well as the large amount of algae in the ocean around Australia digesting our carbon we should slow the transition and look into making the oceans cleaner before we struggle to keep the lights on.
