The only thing left standing in the Rico family home in Valley View, Texas, was the staircase. The tornado destroyed the mobile home on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Its four inhabitants, Jose Rico, Deyanira Espindola, Kristal and Yvette Rico, were injured but survived.

The state of Texas has done important work in this area for years.These forms of energy are excellent and deserve to be subsidized to foster their development. Their drawback is obvious, though. They don’t work when the wind doesn’t blow and the sun doesn’t shine.
