Regenerative braking helps, of course, whether used via the brake pedal, one of two one-pedal driving settings, or a steering-wheel paddle. That latter choice works progressively so a harder squeeze increases the drag, and it’s easy enough to modulate that we preferred using that to the one-pedal mode .In addition to the regenerative settings, the Silverado EV has four drive modes: Normal, Tow/Haul, Off-Road, and My Mode.
