President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. on Thursday called on the local government of Zamboanga and neighboring areas to prepare for the rainy season, saying that the country is experiencing extreme weather due to climate change. Marcos led the distribution of assistance to farmers, fisherfolk, and families in a program at the Universidad de Zamboanga Summit Center in Barangay Tetuan, Zamboanga City.
Marcos ordered the creation of programs that would help their constituents.
