Police were alerted to the electric bike on Wednesday after spotting it being driven with 'no registration plate'. Officers say they attempted to stop the vehicle which made off 'in a dangerous manner'.

A man has been arrested by Renfrewshire police in connection with multiple road traffic offences involving an electric bike.

Police Scotland East Renfrewshire wrote on X, formally known as Twitter: "Mid-day on Wednesday 24th April 2024, Police observed a electric motorcycle with no registration plate. The vehicle made off driving in a dangerous manner. The vehicle was stopped, seized & the 20 year old male was charged with six road traffic offences.
