Kota Kinabalu: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between a private company, E&P O&M Services Sdn Bhd with Universiti Malaysia Sabah and a Letter of Intent with Kota Kinabalu Polytechnic in the opening of 11th Sabah Oil, Gas and Energy Conference and Exhibition 2024 here on Thursday.
In the 11th SOGCE 2024) which was officiated by the State Minister of Finance Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun had witnessed the signing of the MoU and LOI whereby EPOMS was represented by its Chief Executive Officer , Zulkarnain Ismail and its Chief People Officer Muhammad Faizal bin Saidin. Zulkarnain said the company’s collaboration with UMS and PKK will have a positive impact and further assist the state government in creating job opportunities in the oil and gas industry for people of Sabah.At the same time, he said, the noble effort was able to produce more experts from among the local youths, as well as to contribute to the economic development of the region.
“Our company which has been operating for a long time in this industry, is doing this as we want to contribute back to Sabah through this noble cause,” he said.
