The line-up for this year's Electric Picnic festival was finally revealed on Friday afternoon, with many ticketholders left underwhelmed by the long-awaited announcement.
Tickeholders had grown frustrated in recent weeks over the lack of updates about this year's line-up, with organisers usually revealing the acts set to play the festival in March. A third person said that the line-up "is so bad that I genuinely feel awful for everyone who has a ticket", while another called it "literally the worst lineup of all time".
Another fans said that "Electric Picnic organisers... have shafted the country of a fortune only to deliver that line up," while another called it "possibly the weakest line up they've ever had. It's a festival on the way out. Cheaper and better festivals in Europe. Its a shame...used to be great."
