The New Westminster–Burnaby MP was named the federal NDP's new health critic following a recent cabinet shuffle by leader and Burnaby South MP Jagmeet Singh.
The veteran politician for the region since 2004 said he's looking forward to taking on his new responsibility. "In 2021, I tabled Bill C-213 - An Act to enact the Canada Pharmacare Act, but the Liberals and Conservatives voted it down."
