A popular Islamic cleric, Imam Muideen Salman has urged politicians to stem the tide of greed in a bid to reduce the level of hardship in Nigeria.

He urged politicians to make the welfare of the masses a priority, saying their ascension to elected offices was made possible by the people, hence, should dedicate their time to serving them rather than being oppressors.
