Glen Savoie, who’ll retain his Local Government portfolio and his duties as the minister responsible for la Francophonie, replaces Gary Crossman who resigned somewhat unexpectedly in early April.
"My personal and political beliefs no longer align in many ways with the direction of our party and government," Crossman wrote in post to social media on April 19."Therefore, I will be resigning from my ministerial position immediately and my MLA position in the few days."“Glen has proven to be reliable in his current roles, and will no doubt execute his new responsibilities with due care and diligence,” stated Premier Blaine Higgs.
