The federal government has called for increased collaboration between public and private sector investors for Nigeria to achieve its energy

goals.

According to a statement by Louis Mbah, the minister’s spokesperson, Ekpo said the government cannot be the only entity responsible for establishing a Nigeria where the people have unrestricted and affordable access to energy. He said energy is critical in fostering social development, advancing economic growth, and protecting the environment.
