Merseyside Police have arrested a man and seized a suspected stolen bike following an incident in Prenton, Wirral, on Wednesday . At around 6.45pm, police received reports that a group of men had been spotted on electric bikes at Duck Pond Lane, off Woodchurch Road, driving dangerously and causing members of the public to fear for their safety.Read more: Mystery man Jay Slater stayed with at Tenerife Airbnb issues statementThe bikes were seen going into woodland off Viner Road South.
Detective Inspector Phil Ryan said: "This incident will have been concerning to witness and we are determined to find all of those responsible. We think that, given the hour, passers-by on foot or in vehicles may have captured this incident, and such evidence could be vital.
