Finding an Alternative to Coffee for Energy Needs

I’ve never liked coffee but I may have found a new solution to meet my energy needs. It’s not the taste of coffee that puts me off and it’s comforting to have a hot drink in the morning. It is the effects of caffeine that I can’t handle - rather than feeling energised, I feel completely on edge. I went through a six-week period of trying to drink coffee as I tried to look cool at university. But rather than completing my work with boundless energy, I approached it with absolute dread.

Strangely, a cold Red Bull or equivalent energy drink is much more manageable for me, although they carry their own associated health risks. Plus, some people can judge you if you crack one open at 9am. I was therefore intrigued to try a new caffeinated drink called Hearth
